Yorkshire Air Ambulance “Save a life, give a donation!”

To save a life Poles Direct has decided to team up with the Yorkshire Air Ambulance service by becoming a member of the Yorkshire Business Supporters Network. The emergency support which the YAA provides is vital to the Yorkshire community as it offers a lifeline to those who are in desperate need of medical attention who find themselves stuck in a hard to reach location. The YAA provides emergency support to 5 million people over 4 million acres of Yorkshire land paying special attention to those high risk areas including major cities, motorways and isolated rural locations. So without the generosity of the Yorkshire business community YAA would not be able provide such a dedicated service 365 days a year.

To keep two MD902 Explorer helicopters up in the air seven days a week, they need to raise at least £9,990 per day which is equivalent to £3.6 million a year. Both helicopters carry state-of-the-art medical equipment, as well as NHS emergency service personnel which play a vital role in saving lives by offering instant medical care.
